OUR GUIDE TO ART WEEK CPH

Every year, Art Week takes over Copenhagen, showing the city’s vibrant art scene with events taking place in all kinds of locations, from established cultural institutions to artist-run basement venues.
This year, we are excited to be part of the program, with exhibition Revival of Egyptian Revival by Oscar Yran, in cooperation with Ok Corral Gallery. You can find more information about the vernissage on the 25th of May here. We hope to see you!

ART BAR: FILMSCREENING.
The students of the Royal Danish Academy will present their films and a curated series titled Visions of Ukraine.
The multi-faceted artist Anohni will host her first major exhibition in Denmark at Nikolaj Kunsthal, opening during Art Week Cph. The exhibition will include installations, sculptures and archive work.
LOCATION FUCK ME
This group exhibition by Malmö-based artist collective investigates the concept of location, its limits and borders, its current political and historical definition, and why is everyone feeling “fucked” at the moment.
SABSAY: TALK ON NEUROSCIENCE AND ART
with Mikkel Bogh and Martin Skov
A talk between the Director of the National Gallery of Denmark and a Professor of neuroscience on the connection between the two disciplines. The talk is related to the exhibition at Sabsay, Glimpse: A Passing Look by Liu Wa, an immersive installation created through the use neurotechnology.
NOTHING IS TRUE, AND EVERYTHING IS ALIVE
This exciting new art space will be hosting an exhibition dedicated to living organisms – SCOBYs, lichen and slime holds – and how they navigate through the world. Something not to miss?
