Copenhagen Architecture Festival

The Copenhagen Architecture Festival (CAFx) is the major cultural event and something you should definitely find time to visit.

This year’s theme is Home, Housing and Belonging and it will take place in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Aalborg, and Odense from May 3rd – 16th.

Architecture Festival unfolds the role and highlights the impact of architecture in our lives. As we know architecture is more than just bricks and blocks, it has very social and cultural affect and we are living in constant interaction with it.

Every year the festival discovers and shows various architectural ideas, has a broad program of talks, workshops, films, performances, seminars and exhibitions by exciting institutions and international partners.

SAMURAI ARCHITECT: TADAO ANDO

A biographical documentary about one of the masters of Japanese architecture. He shares many bits of advice, one of them – “Keep training your creative muscles and always start a design with the furniture.”
